  • Overview

    Provide administrative support to the executive offices in a Christian Church. Serve as confidential liaison between Ministry Directors and Chief Of Staff. Support the COS and other designated members of the Senior Executive Team  in the implementation of duties. Coordinate projects, research vendor proposals, provide guidance, direction, and disseminate information to management team, employees, volunteers, vendors and guests on specific situations that may arise.


    • Manage Office of Sr. Pastor and Chief Of Staff (COS) in a Christian Church. Answer inquiries, handle calls, interact with vendors, managers, employees, ministry leaders and congregants. Prioritize requests.
    • Provide administrative support to the Sr. Pastor and Chief Of Staff. Key functions include maintaining calendar, arranging meetings, making travel plans, coordinating schedule with vendors, managers, consultants, and ministry leaders.
    • Serve as liaison between ministry directors, congregants, vendors, and Office of the COS.
    • Act as coordinator for special projects under the direction of the COS. Organize projects, assist with implementation by planning and coordinating events, disseminating information, monitoring results and deadlines.
    • Perform research and analysis on projects and proposals under direction of the COS.
    • Prepare meeting agendas, notices and meeting minutes.
    • Organize programs, meetings, and conferences involving executive team.
    • Prepare correspondence for Executive Office; compose memos, and letters.
    • Complete complex, confidential administrative duties including preparation of presentations, charts, reports, tables and graphs.
    • Represent Executive Office in interaction with vendors, consultants, staff and visitors.
    • Maintain official records – paper and electronic.
    • Organize and prioritize large volumes of information and documentation.
    • Coordinate check requests and approvals for Senior Pastor and COS.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of and support the mission, vision, values, policies and procedures of the church.
    • Perform other duties assigned.


    • Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in office management and executive administration.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
    • Must have high degree of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive information along with the proven ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
    • Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
    • Proven organizational and project management skills.
    • Ability to communicate professionally in group settings, in written and verbal forms with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as high profile individuals who are not members of the organization.
    • Effective planning, organizing and prioritizing skills.
    • Problem solving abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
